Born in the southern region of Schleswig-Holstein, I grew up in a home where two cultures beautifully converged—my father, a Persian civil engineer, and my German mother, a dedicated family manager, instilled in me a deep appreciation for heritage, values, and lifelong learning. After graduating from high school in Hamburg, I embarked on a journey of discovery that took me from an apprenticeship as a bank clerk to studying Industrial Engineering & Management at TU Berlin, with enriching stints at Harvard and UC Berkeley. I graduated as Dr.-Ing. from TU Berlin, earned an Advanced Management Degree at Harvard Business School, and completed the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at the University of Oxford.
While my professional career has been fulfilling, it's the personal aspects of life that define me. I'm a husband, a proud father of two wonderful sons, and someone who cherishes family, friends, and community. That's why I remain deeply connected to those who matter most. My free time is filled with pursuits like reading, tennis, golf, and skiing, all of which provide not just recreation but connection and moments of self-reflection.
